Transport methods

Definition of different delivery options

Last updated 09 Sept 2024

A Transport Method is a service offered by a transporter that defines how goods are delivered. Because the number of named services can be overwhelming for certain transporters, Skrym in some cases combine what the transporter calls distinct services into a single transport method.

Examples of transport methods:

  • PostNord MyPack Collect
  • DHL Service Point
  • Budbee Home

Where are transport methods used?

Transport methods are used in many places across the Skrym toolbox, including:

  • Presenting delivery options in the Checkout
  • Choosing a transport method when making a Booking
  • Connecting a shipment to its tracked events in Tracking
