Empty Space

At Skrym, we optimize the packing and placement of products by utilizing every inch of space - including the empty spaces within the bounding box of the product.

Configuring Empty Space for Products:

To configure empty spaces within products, follow these essential steps:

1. Measure the size of the empty space 📏 Measure the Length x Width x Height of the empty spaces within the product. If there are several different empty spaces, measure each one separately since this will allow for more accurate placement of other products within the empty space.
2. Configure the empty space for the product📦 This can be done through Scope, on the individual product page, or through our API.

How to Configure:

On Scope:

Visit the Products page and open the product to configure. Fill out the form with the empty space details you have measured.

Using the API:

1. Define type as emptySpace in the family object.
2. Fill in the emptySpace object with appropriate values.
