What we mean when we talk about Digital Transport Agreements
What is a Digital Transport Agreement?
A Digital Transport Agreement is a digitalized representation of any transport agreement you have with a transporter (as a freight buyer) or with a client (as a freight seller).
Compared to traditional paper transport agreements, the Skrym API for transport agreements reads in all the data—terms, conditions, and exact costs—that the agreement contains. This allows you to use information that is already available to make precise calculations, outputting the exact cost of any shipment you send or receive, together with a breakdown of predicted penalty and/or added fees.
This can be done both before and after sending a shipment (as long as you know the tracking IDs), giving you additional flexibility in gathering insights about your logistics flows and how to leverage your current transport agreements.
Validate your shipping costs in a reliable way and gain control over your costs by using Skrym's support for Digital Transport Agreements.
