How to configure your preferences
On this page and its sub-pages, we describe the ways in which you can set your own preferences for the checkout.
On the Scope Strategies page, you can configure the following checkout-level preferences:

Apart from these, you can also set additional preferences for each transport method or even configure your own custom parameters.
Warehouse and transport method handling times
In Scope, open Data → Locations → [warehouse] → Handling times to set cutoff time and fulfilment days. The tab appears only for warehouse locations. Start with a warehouse default that covers all transporters and methods. Add a transporter or transport method override only when it needs a different value. The warehouse time zone is derived from its coordinates and shown read-only. If the zone cannot be resolved, cutoff cannot be enabled; fulfilment days remain available.
Cutoff and fulfilment are resolved independently. An enabled method value takes priority over its transporter value, which takes priority over the warehouse default. A disabled setting keeps its saved value but inherits the next broader enabled value. An enabled fulfilment value of zero days overrides broader values. Clearing a value turns off that setting. A setting can only be enabled after its required value has been set.
Checkout uses these settings to adjust delivery dates and intervals for the matching warehouse and transport method, including delivery estimates for its pickup locations. Cutoff applies whether or not the checkout uses working days. When working days are enabled, cutoff and fulfilment delays skip weekends and national holidays. If the checkout origin cannot be matched to exactly one warehouse, delivery estimates remain unchanged by these settings. If the warehouse time zone is unavailable, checkout skips cutoff but can still apply fulfilment days.
